antiSOCIAL Pune Weekend Buzz celebrates International Blues Day!

Pune, 6th August 2022: Did you know that this August 6th is International Blues Day? International Blues Day, which is observed on the first Saturday in August, honors the diverse and lively blues genre. 

To keep this celebration going, antiSOCIAL, Pune is celebrating International Blues Day this Saturday, 7 p.m. onwards with their exclusive feature of Weekend Buzz with a line-up of 6 talented artists featuring Gravity, AC Collective, C Wagh, LiveWire, Blues Bus and the final performance by All Star Jam

Come enjoy the music with some great food and a drink or two – all dedicated to bringing the blues vibe alive like no other!

ABOUT PERFORMING ARTISTS:

BLUES BUS:

BluesBus is a five-man archetype with deep roots in the blues that transcends funk, rock, and rock and roll.

Neeraj plays bass as if his life depended on it, and JJ on drums has funk on the brain. Kevin is the symphonist on the saxophone, Gaurav is a singer with a bad case ‘o of the blues, and Darel is the pianist who holds everything together and makes us seem professional.

AC COLLECTIVE:

A modern take on the blues-rock era of the 1960s and 1970s, their sound consists of hard hitting original compositions and a very interesting repertoire of cover music.

These seasoned musicians, who are the brainchild of Arnob Choudhuri and his associates, have come together because they share a passion for spontaneous performances and playing for live audiences. they do it all with a boom or a whisper.

C.WAGH:

C.Wagh, is a Pune-based singer-songwriter with a background as a doctor.He has been performing a lot of groovy blues music, both original and tributes to certain legends.

A whole album named “Sed life blues” was just written and uploaded on all major streaming services.

GRAVITY:

The musical group Gravity performs a blend of Blues, Country, and Jazz Standards.

The band, made up of artists with extensive experience in Pune’s music scene, came together over a shared passion for deep and beautiful music.

Vernon Besterwitch is on guitars, David Mansey on drums and Dean Vaz on bass guitar and all sharing vocals.
