Clarks Exotica Appoints Varun Sharma as its Director of Operations

Bengaluru, June 14th, 2018: Clarks Exotica Convention Resort & Spa, one of the leading five-star resorts in India, is proud to announce the promotion Mr. Varun Sharma as its new Director of Operations. In his new role, Mr. Varun will be responsible to foster synergy and provide operational excellence.

Mr. Sharma, who was formerly the Director of Food & Beverages at Clarks Exotica, has more than 13 years of experience in the F&B and hospitality sector. He joined Clarks Exotica as an Executive Chef in 2014 and has been responsible for improving the food and beverage production and service standards since then.

Reflecting on his promotion, Mr. Varun said, “Over the last 13 years, I have closely worked with the various departments in the hospitality industry which has helped me understand the various intricacies that we face operationally. We will now focus on creating an environment for our staff to continuously improve and deliver flawless execution of services to our guests.”

Mr. Varun holds a Bachelors BSc in Hotel & Hospitality Administration from IHMCTAN, Mumbai also completed Taj Management Training Program and later completed his MBA in Hospitality Management from NIM, Mumbai.
