Cake mixing ceremony at Fairfield by Marriott Mumbai airport was a star studded event and mixing was done with a twist

After opening in July this year Fairfield by Marriott Mumbai celebrated its first ever cake mixing ceremony in 2 different styles on 19th November.

The traditional cake mixing with nuts and spirits was attended by celebrities like Rochelle Rao, Keith Sequeira, Tanaz Irani, Charu Asopa and many more.

There was a special cake mixing ceremony organized for children which was alcohol free and kids were seen in joyous mood of Christmas, along with kids from Jamuna Bai school this ceremony was attended by celebrity child artists including Ruhanika Dhawan and Aakriti Sharma.

Celebrating this joyous occasion ” This was the first cake mixing ceremony at Fairfield by Marriott Mumbai and firsts are always special, so we thought of doing it with a twist and make it memorable for young kids, I’m glad that kids came in huge numbers and enjoyed the vibe of Christmas and got to learn the meaning of cake mixing ceremony that is held a month before Christmas “

“The concept of cake mixing is a very old tradition, mixing of nuts ,dry fruits alcohol a month before Christmas is done and stored and that’s how plum cake is made during Christmas,Here at Fairfield By Marriott Mumbai we did something different we have invited kids to join us for Cake Mixing. Instead of liquor We used syrups and honey for children. so that the kids can also participate in it and enjoy the ceremony. We will be sharing this cake with children of an orphanage during Thanksgiving because happiness should always be shared.”
