ITDC sensitises people about importance of cleanliness, observes ‘Swachhta Pakhwada’

October 07, 2019: Aligned with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Clean India, India Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (ITDC) the hospitality major under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism observed Swachhta Pakhwada with an objective to spread awareness about importance of cleanliness.

All the units under ITDC undertook various activities during this period such as nukkad natak, cleanliness drive, slogan writing, essay writing, painting competition, seminars & lectures centered on the theme of clean India.

The key highlight of the pakhwada was a theme based skit (Nukkad Natak) performed by the students of Ashok Institute of Hospitality &Tourism Management (AIH&TM).  The students recited poems and sang songs to spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and banning plastic.

ITDC began observance of Swachhta Pakhwada-2019 starting September 16^th, 2019 to October 02^nd 2019 and was joined by all the employees, children of the staff members (ITDC) and students of Ashok Institute of Hospitality &Tourism Management (AIH&TM).
