Lemon Tree Hotels launches two new hotels – one each in Agra and Bhopal

Two hotels in two states bring on board more than 100 rooms

New Delhi, June 2, 2023: Lemon Tree Hotels Limited announced the opening of two of its latest hotels – Lemon Tree Hotel, Agra and Lemon Tree Hotel, Bhopal. With these two launches, the company makes its debut in both the cities and also adds more than 100 rooms to its inventory.

Lemon Tree Hotel, Agra will open in two phases where 30 well-appointed rooms and suites are opening today and 30 will open soon after. These will be complemented by a Citrus Café – the bright and inviting multi cuisine restaurant – and two expansive banquet halls.

Located in the city of love, the hotel is just off the Bypass Road Khandari and enjoys excellent connectivity to different parts of the city via Transport Nagar Road, Surya Nagar Colony Road, Lala Lajpat Rai Road and Master Plan Road. The Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Airport is 12 kms away and the Agra Fort Railway Station is at a distance of 6.4 kms. Taj Mahal is at a distance of 14 kms and other tourist attractions are located in proximity as well.

Lemon Tree Hotel, Bhopal, also in a historical city, marks the brand’s third property in Madhya Pradesh and will feature 46 well-appointed rooms, a multi-cuisine restaurant – Citrus Café – a tea lounge, a banquet hall, a fitness center and more. The hotel is situated in southern Bhopal, which is known for its historical monuments, religious sites, and natural beauty. The Raja Bhoj Airport is about 17 kms from the property while the Bhopal Junction Railway Station is just 6 kms away and the Rani Kamlapati Private Railway Station is at a distance of 2.5 kms. The property is connected by both public and private transport to all the major cities in India.

The water bodies dotting Bhopal have given it the nomenclature of “city of lakes”. Around the lakes are several palaces and a fort that dates back to 1728. Bhopal has several mosques, including the 19th-century Taj-ul-Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Other tourist attractions in and around Bhopal include Fatehgarh Fort; Bhimbhetka Rock Shelters; Sanchi Stupa; Lakshmi Narayan Temple; Bharat Bhawan, a multipurpose arts centre; the Museum of Man, an open-air exhibit of replicas of different Indian tribal dwellings and Van Vihar National Park which is a zoological park.
