OYO becomes the only Indian brand to bag the exclusive Grand Prix at the 4A’s Jay Chiat Awards 2022

New Delhi, September 21, 2022: Global hospitality technology platform, OYO bagged two Golds, one Silver and a Grand Prix at the most coveted marketing strategy awards, 4A’s 25th Jay Chiat Strategy Awards 2022. OYO was also the only Indian brand to win this prestigious globally recognized honor.

All three of OYO’s shortlists converted to wins. The travel technology major won a Grand Prix prize for their landmark campaign ‘Come To OYO’. Besides this, OYO also won Golds in the Brand Pivot Strategy and National Strategy categories, and bagged a Silver under the Regional Strategy category.

With ‘Come To OYO’, the brand transformed the business and reimagined OYO as a space for all reasons and not merely as hotel rooms. OYO introduced India to a whole new way to access and use the small hotel next door, with 11 different films – each written, narrated and released in a language representing the diversity of India. With strategic yet relatable storytelling, this campaign reimagined the brand and tapped into a whole new customer base.

Every year, the company enters a select few excellence awards that recognize marketing strategy, effectiveness, and creativity. The Jay Chiat Awards are hosted by the 4A’s, a national trade association that represents advertising agencies from the USA. These awards recognize and celebrate strategic thinking in marketing, media and advertising worldwide.
