The décor at Foo will rightly capture the spirit of festivity with shimmery red lanterns and the traditional Chinese dragon hangings across the restaurant. As per popular beliefs, the colour red creates a warm ambiance and wards off evil while the Chinese dragon brings good luck.
To ring in the New Year, Foo will be serving an array of delectable specialties signifying prosperity, good wealth, and luck. The menu includes dishes like Good Luck Dumpling, Chilli & Mock Meat, Fortune Dumpling as the Chinese name for dumpling- Jiaozi means changing of year aptly defining the celebration. The menu also serves Prosperity Hot & Spicy Duck Roll as duck represents a happy, healthy, and prosperous year. Give your sweet tooth craving a taste of luck wealth and prosperity by indulging in Fat Choy Tangerine Caramel Mousse made of Yuzu and apple compote, white chocolate, charcoal coco butter, and chocolate Ice Cream
Foo has curated a special cocktail menu to wish their guests’ prosperity, wealth, and good fortune in the year of the Golden Ox-. Creating their own version of sour cocktails, the menu features Gentian Wisdom made of Ballantine, Suze, lime juice, egg white and aromatic bitters. Don’t miss out on the Royal Fortune made using a medicinal Chinese herb called Shisho.
