Mumbai, 14^th September, 2019: Sofitel Mumbai BKC in association with Grand Mercure Phuket Patong is all set to take you on a culinary sojourn as the luxury hotel brings to you the best of Thailand on popular demand. The French hotel will showcase their culinary expertise through a 10-day food festival, at Pondichéry Café, their all day dining restaurant from Friday, 13^th September and will go on till Sunday, 22^nd September, 2019.

Touted as one of the healthiest cuisines in the world for its use of fresh ingredients and swift cooking,Thai food is renowned for their flavoursome dishes. Keeping this in mind, the exquisite menu and gastronomic creations of the zesty Thai Food Festival will be presented by specially flown, Thai Chefs Sarawut Sarnnoy and Teerayut Hhod-Aun from Grand Mercure Phuket Patong.

Offering guests an authentic flavour of the vibrant Thailand, the talented culinary team of the city hotel has curated an innovative menu with an eclectic mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes from the culturally rich country. The chefs who are bringing traditional Thai culinary secrets to Mumbai are looking forward to displaying techniques passed down from generation after generation.

Complemented by a range of exotic spices, fresh herbs and ingredients sourced from Thailand, the Chefs will feature dishes like Crab Meat in Yellow Curry and Vermicelli, Grilled Lamb in Massaman Curry, Thai Roast Chicken with Spicy Tamarind Sauce, Tofu Song Khruang and more. Adding to this tantalizing menu will be some traditional dessert options like Mango and Sticky Rice with Coconut Ice Cream, Pumpkin Custard, Thai Pudding with Taro and more.
