Simmering It Up With Taj

MUMBAI, AUGUST 6, 2022: Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, recently announced that its iconic brand, Taj, has been rated the World’s Strongest Hotel Brand and India’s Strongest Brand for the second consecutive time this year by Brand Finance. To celebrate the dual honour, Taj launched an exclusive and introductory edition of Simmering It Up at Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, the first of a series of events that the brand will be hosting.

The event saw a lively interactive cook-out at the rooftop Middle Eastern restaurant – Souk between Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Indian Hotels Company LimitedMr. Anant Goenka, Executive Director, The Indian Express and Ms. Shereen Bhan, Managing Editor, CNBC TV18, moderated by Ms. Ambreen Khan.

The evening was followed by celebratory sundowners and dinner, which included an elaborate selection of savories and sweets to choose from, such as Moroccan Ratatouille, Harira Lamb Chops, Rose Petal Ice Cream and many more, curated by Executive Chef Amit Choudhary.

Joining in the celebrations were the guests and patrons of the Taj who raised a toast to the fantastic achievement! In attendance were Tasneem & Vikram Mehta, Ranjana Kamlani, Kozem Merchant and Lillete Dubey among others.
