The Fiery Edit makes its way back to Foo!

13/03/2020

After the enormous success of the first edition of the Fiery Edit at Foo, Phoenix. The team behind this successful pop-up menu has decided to bring back The Fiery Edit this time much bigger and better. Realizing that Chilly and spice are a favorite of its patrons, the Fiery Edit has been designed to challenge just how much you love your spice! That’s right the Fiery Edit will be across all Foo outlets for the entire month of March.

The pop-up menu boasts of the Red PaprikaRed Habanero, and the comparatively mild Jalapenos and Poblano chillies from Mexico. The legendary Ghost Chilly and Dry Naga Chilly, also infamous for being the world’s hottest chilly, have been sourced from different parts of the North East India.

The flavors of these notorious chillies have been carefully fused into dishes to create a well-balanced mouth-watering meal. You can test the waters with the Jalapeno Chilly Chicken Dumpling where jalapenos have been mixed into the dough of the dumplings and then move onto the Wok Grilled Paprika Chilly Stuffed Tofu. If you have a zest for truly spicy food, the Naga Chilly Prawns Tempura Roll or the Ghost Chilly Asparagus Corn Dumpling are sure to tickle your fancy. Another key highlight on the menu is the Ghost Chilly Pepper Chicken which is a unique fusion of Pepper Chicken and Ghost Chilly which adds quite a punch to the dish. For all you Prawn lovers, we recommend you don’t miss out on trying the Furious Habanero Chilly Crispy Garlic Prawns which has just the perfect amount of spice to it! In addition to these, The Habanero Chilly Chocolate Ice Cream makes for the perfect dessert with a punch to satisfy your sweet tooth!

The month-long menu will offer a specially curated cocktail menu inspired by the chillies to go along with the dishes. The Som Tam Surprise, a vodka-based cocktail made with Lime Juice, Papaya Pickle and Bird Eye Chilly is just an indication of the zing that’s packed in the drinks. The Foo Gibson made with Absolut Blue and Chilly Pickle along with the Tom Yum Punch made with Absolut Blue, Sweet Chilly Pepper, Lemongrass, Galangal, Kaffir Lime Leaves, and Citrus are two more of the five Fiery Edit Cocktails. What’s more? A wide range of sauces made with these chillies paired with Rice Crackers will be available on your table for you to taste!

With the kick of global chillies perfectly blended into the deliciousness of Asian Cuisine, the Fiery Edit is sure to leave you wanting for more.
