A Taste of History : Beloved Classics Return for Esplanade's 15th Anniversary

Join us at Esplanade as we reflect on 15 years of serving up delicious food with memorable stories leading to some incredible moments. Beyond just a specialty restaurant, Esplanade has been a place where Bengal's vibrant spirit comes alive. Our new menu, as we mark this milestone, is a nostalgic trip through history.

 Rediscover the past as we reintroduce beloved classics from our first menu. These aren't just dishes, they're treasures, cherished by you. To honor your affection, we're reintroducing them for our 15th anniversary, offering a taste of nostalgia as we unveil our new menu.

There are dishes reminiscent of the British era like the Braised Chicken Cutlet and Murgir Dakbungalow, there are ones from the kitchen of Tagore like the Chhana Karaishutir Chop, Aloo Karaishutir Nimano, Badam Bata Macch Bhaja, there are also dishes with a Mughal influence such as the Bhetki Dumpukht and then ofcourse there are ones from the bustling streets of Kolkata like the Macher Kochuri and Machher Chop.

Our new menu is a symphony of flavors, including the comforting Panchforon Phulkopi, Beguner Tel Jhal, and Kankra Chingri Paturi—each dish a nostalgic reminder of home. And because no Bengali celebration is complete without mishti, you can end the meal on a sweet note with our Baked Rosogolla and the all time favourite Ice Cream Sandesh.

 The anniversary celebration is an invitation to savor not just food but the essence of shared stories and cultural richness.
