Mumbai, 12th January -  A taste of Rome now in Mumbai by Ayush Kapoor, the Director at Movietimes cineplex pvt ltd, has decided to bring together the serial hospitality entrepreneurs - Dhaval Udeshi, Pawan Shahri, Nikita Harisinghani with food expert Aditya Wanwari to bring you yet another reason to rejoice this season. After various successful ventures they are bringing to you a concept like never before - Donna Deli is the first of a kind casual dining and bar which not only has a great outdoor area but also is a one-of-a-kind place that specializes in Asian and Italian.

Ayush Kapur is the director of Movie Time Cinemas Pvt Ltd, a national multiplex network with over 80 screens across India with a strong presence in major cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Amritsar, as well as tier 2 cities. They also own and operate the Hyperlocal and Frathouse bars and nightclubs in Hyderabad, as well as China Ming and Peshawari Grill, two-family dining restaurants in Mumbai's Hub Mall.

The company has now opted to grow into the casual eating market, and Ayush will be in charge of the company's business expansion plans, with the next outlet set to open in the company-owned Cubic Mall in Chembur.

Ayush's idea behind Donna Deli is to make it a one-of-a-kind place where you can go from coffee and co-working in the morning to cocktails and dinner in the evening. Not to forget their quirky decor with ample pop of color, which makes it an ideal Instagram-worthy spot. The aim is to create a brand that resonates with people and creates a well-curated environment.

The entire cafe is decked out in chic and feminine lighting. Donna Deli aims to create an authentic environment that feels like one of the cafés and bars on the streets of Rome. Furthermore, they will feature a mannequin of a lady named Donna clothed in beautiful new clothing fashioned by Eshaa Amiin at the entryway every season. Eshaa Amiin's fantastic sense of style is evident in her work as a stylist. She's now collaborating with Donna Deli and using her magic wand to transform the Donna Deli Mannequin into something never seen before. 

"DONNA, as the name suggests, conjures a story of a woman with a past who vicariously lives her desires through being surrounded by quirks that pour out of her imagination. A White Goth daydream, pretty as a rose yet lined with the rebellion of black chipped black nails and deep kohl eyes. An artist, a storyteller, or a whimsical creature. From handcrafted pastas, Neapolitan style pizzas, and tiramisu that melts just so in each bite, it’s time to savor the classics. The Asian cuisine is gourmet with very fine and high-quality ingredients in seafood and sushi, Donna Deli wishes to serve it all under one roof."

Designed by Tejal Mathur of Pali Village Café fame, the white vintage outdoors with lush greens in classic European patio urns and white metal planters give a sense of an overgrown conservatory with a charming addition Bloom Barn, a day florist to ply you with bunched up fresh flowers.

Aside from being a wonderfully cute and quaint place to spend your time, Donna Deli has a fabulous retail section outdoors where you can purchase artisanal bread, sourdough loaves, baguettes, gourmet sauces, cream cheeses, chilli oils and much more.
