Academy of Pastry & Culinary Arts takes the online route for education!

In the wake of the COVID-19 emergency, educational institutions around the world are shifting to online learning so that education can be continued amidst the time of social distancing.

While many Edtech platforms in the country like Edubrisk, Vedantu and Buju’s are stepping up to solve the educational crisis in the country. Many private institutions that provide skilled-based education like the Academy of Pastry & Culinary Arts (APCA) have come up with innovate ways to engage their students and masses both during this time of social lockdown.

For their students, Academy has started taking classes on Zoom, where their reputed and awarded Chefs are taking classes on a regular basis. Since, 70% of APCA’s teaching is hands-on so they are planning to conduct their remaining theory classes initially through the Zoom platform.

Apart from this APCA also understands their responsibility towards the community and thus they are conducting free Insta live classes for the masses on their Instagram account. These recipes are taught by the top-notch Chefs and can be made with the basis food ingredients available at home. Initially they have witnessed over 3.5k viewers of their live videos and are expected more people to join in the days to come. Sharing his views on these initiatives, Major Dinesh Sharma, Co-Founder of The Academy of Pastry & Culinary Arts stated ‘We at Academy are very much dedicated towards the future of our students and thus we are trying to keep them engaged in every possible way. We have also started Insta Live and Facebook Live classes for the Indian people, to keep them occupied during this time of COVID-19 outbreak’
