Akina Presents The Edo Mae Sushi Experience by Celebrated Chef Koji Sagawa from Iki, Dubai 

Mumbai 2023: Akina is thrilled to present a distinctive dining affair featuring an exclusive pop-up orchestrated by the renowned Chef Koji Sagawa of Iki, Dubai. "Iki," a Japanese culinary concept, promises the epitome of an exclusive dining experience.

Boasting an impressive 39-year career as a sushi chef, Chef Koji Sagawa, honored as Dubai's Japanese Michelin chef in 2022, stands out as one of Japan's top sushi chefs. His expertise and artistry have transcended borders, with notable stints at establishments like Bvlgari Resorts and Residences in Dubai, Sushi Iwa, and Masami Sushi in Japan.

The exclusive pop-up will showcase the Iki Omakase experience at Akina by Chef Koji. The meticulously crafted menu will feature appetizers such as Mozuku Seaweed with Tai Seabream, marinated in vinegar, and Tofu Yuba with Crab meat. Buri Daikon, a traditional stew combining yellowtail and Daiko Japanese radish slow-cooked with soy sauce, will be a highlight. The sushi menu will encompass Tai Seabream Kobujime, Hamachi Yellow Tail, Blue Fin Tuna Akami, BlueFin Tuna ChuToro, Ika Squid, Japanese Salmon, Saba Mackerel, Uni and Ikura Don, Kanpyo Maki.

For vegetarian enthusiasts, the menu will include appetizers like Mozuku Seaweed with Daiko Oroshi, Tofu Yuba with vegetables, and Hiryuzu, a mock meat concoction of tofu and mixed vegetables deep-fried. Sushi options comprise Yamagobou Maki, Kappa Maki, Takuan with daikon radish pickles, Okura atop sushi rice, Vegetable Don with a selection of vegetables on sushi rice, and Kanpyo Maki.

Conclude your dining experience with a delightful dessert such as Tamagoyaki topped with granulated sugar, slow-cooked for nearly an hour.
