Alila Fort Bishangarh celebrates The Spirit of Kite Festival

~The Festival that Marks the beginning of fresh New Season~

Mumbai, 21 January 2019: Alila Fort Bishangarh, the only warrior fort that has been converted into heritage resort, celebrated the Kite Festival on January 19th with colourful theme based on various shades of Indian culture. The kite flying festival, also known as Makar Sankranti, is cherished as a prominent festival of Rajasthan. The festival was celebrated at the Fort with in-house guests, international travellers, and non-residential guests.

With breath-taking views of striking architecture in the midst of rolling Aravallis, the guests enjoyed kite flying activity along with an array of traditional activities such as bangle making, heena art, pottery making with other local artisans from the village of Bishangarh. In addition, the guests treated themselves with flavourful Rajasthani delicacies, gastronomical delights at the live food station and grooved to the beats of the Live DJ.
