All Golds for DeVANS at Spiritz Selection Awards, 2022

New Delhi, 25 July, 2022: Devans Modern Breweries walked away with all golds at the Spiritz Selection Awards, 2022, a gala event held at The Leela Ambience, Gurugram on 16th July. Godfather Legendary, Godfather Super 8, Six Fields Blanche, Six Fields Cult and Kotsberg Pils, all brands manufactured by the company at its facility in Samba, Jammu & Kashmir, won gold in their respective categories. The beers were judged through blind tasting by an eminent jury consisting of industry professionals and acclaimed experts.

The Spiritz Selection Awards are being held for the past 3 years and with Godfather Legendary winning gold in the last two editions as well, this year’s win marks a hat-trick of golds for the iconic Indian brand. The beer also won gold earlier this year at The Beer of India Awards in Bengaluru. This has made DeVANS Godfather the most awarded strong beer in the country. Its Kotsberg Pils won a silver medal at the prestigious Brussels Beer Challenge, 2021. The company has also been awarded the International Star Award for Quality at the International Quality convention, Geneva for its commitment to technology and innovation. The Spiritz Selection Awards are organized annually by Delhi-based Spiritz, which has been awarding industry stalwarts for the past 8 years. The jury judges the beers on the basis of appearance, carbonation, aroma, mouth feel, taste and stylistic accuracy.
