Amadeo By Oberoi Unveils Refreshing Summer Menu: Explore a Wide Selection of Delights from The Counter Collection
  • For the very first time, an all-women team of pastry chefs presents the new dessert menu

Amadeo By Oberoi, The Oberoi Group's newest independent restaurant, located at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai, proudly presents a refreshing summer menu, inspired by its culinary philosophy known as The Counter Collection. Rooted in Japanese, Italian, Chinese, and Indian culinary heritage, the new menu offers a selection of dishes perfect for the summer season.

The new summer menu, conceptualized by Executive Chef Kayzad Sadri and Japanese Master Chef Gregory Oblena, introduces the city to one-of-a-kind sashimi salad rolls with buttery Hamachi and Tuna off the coast of Japan, all encasing a salad of Japanese radish, asparagus, and baby cress bathed in truffle ponzu and topped off with edible 24-carat gold leaf. Highlights from The Chinese Collection include Stir fried haricot beans with black beana duck bao with crispy skin, tender meat, and a sweet hoisin glaze,  and fresh “Arabian Sea” lobster dressed simply with the yin and yang flavours of ginger and spring onion. For those craving authentic Italian, we introduce a salad pizza, a light-as-clouds pizza base baked with the finest extra virgin olive oil and garlic confit, topped with baby gem and wild rocket, avocado, and lashings of chilled Greek yoghurt dressing as well as try Baked brie with sriracha hot honey and sourdough crisps. Indulge in our homemade spaghetti a la chitarra topped with hand-pulled crab meat. Exploring the depths of Maharashtrian food from The Indian Collection, we offer Gucchi makhana, Kathal ke galouti kebab and Malwani mutton sukka based on a traditional black masala, and tandoor-roasted prawns with its masala butter bath to dunk the succulent prawns in.

The new cocktail menu, "What's In a Name," prioritises taste and simplicity over theatrics and celebrates the concept of dining. As you progress through each course, the cocktails evolve into intricate flavours as they intensify in strength and taste, ensuring a memorable and refined drinking experience. Some of the must try cocktails are #1 (Bourbon, tamarind, maple, lime), #5 (Irish whiskey, cognac, matcha tea syrup, lime, Laphroaig float) and #12 (El Dorado, rum, apricot liqueur, sweet vermouth, dry vermouth, bitters).

Commenting on the launch of the new menu Executive Chef Kayzad Sadri said, "The new menu at Amadeo By Oberoi celebrates the diversity of ingredients, both humble and exotic. From baked brie with hot honey to organic carrots charred over charcoal with goat cheese, each dish highlights the richness of flavours. Refined techniques have been used to coax more flavour out of the freshest ingredients, evident in both our food and beverage selections."

An all-women team of pastry chefs at Amadeo By Oberoi proudly presents a renewed dessert experience with a selection of ice creams and sorbets for the very first time. Indulge in a variety of flavours, ranging from 60% dark Belgian chocolate ice cream to fresh Alphonso mango, from trending favourites like Lotus Biscoff and salted caramel to a tangy sugar-free cherry sorbet and a bold chilli and guava sorbet.

The new menu is available at Amadeo By Oberoi for lunch and dinner.
