Business Head, ‘Raajkutir’, Swabhumi, Kolkata Ambuja Neotia Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Subrata Debnath as the Business Head of its upcoming hospitality project, “Raajkutir”- Swabhumi, Kolkata. In his new role, Debnath will lead this mega experiential boutique hotel inspired by legacy and heritage that endeavours to take one back into time. In his last role, he mentored and lead the food & beverage and culinary operations of the landmark hotel, Taj City Centre, Gurugram.
With a rich and diverse experience spanning of more than 25 years, 10 unique destinations across the world and a host of international brands, Debnath is known for his exemplary hotel operations skills, preopening of hotels and passion for perfection. Apart from various assignments in the Taj, he has spent more than a decade with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, working in its properties across South Asia – Kolkata, Singapore, Bangkok, Kathmandu and Chennai. He has also worked with Hilton at its hotels in Dubai and Bahrain and also for the Swissôtel in Kolkata.
Born and raised in the Steel City of Jamshedpur, Debnath, an IHM graduate, embarked upon his career with Indian Hotel’s Corporation Limited, Bangalore. A seasoned gourmand and a food connoisseur, his culinary repertoire ranges from the authentic to the contemporary.
Being a Celebrity Executive Chef, he crafts his dishes with love, passion, an artistic touch and strongly believes in food that is carefully sourced and thoughtfully served. He also had the privilege to serve the president and prime minister of India along with other countries’ International dignitaries.
The restaurant menus at Raajkutir – Swabhumi are being crafted where nostalgia meets excellence.
