Angsana Oasis Spa and Resort kicks off a workshop to mark the 77th year of Indian Independence

Bringing people together and helping them learn and appreciate the many cultures, cuisines and people of the largest democracy in the world is what our new Executive Chef Rahul has set off to do

And what better time to introduce this masterclass by Chef Rahul then on the week we celebrate our Independence Day! The simple idea behind is to get guests together each week and as a group learn about a far off region, lesser known community and understand them through something that never fails to bring people together - food

Open to anyone interested, the 2 hour session will include foraging from the garden around the resort, a 5 course cooking session with the executive chef, followed by a leisurely lunch 

To kickstart the initiative, the chef on the 17th of August Saturday will start off with one of India's closest allies - Bhutan with making 4 signature dishes from the cuisine, the ever popular Ema Dashi, the Puta Lamb, the Bathuep and more.
