Anna Joseph received Gold Award for the Best Designer Cake from The Silent heroes Award (EMAK).

Event Management Association Kerala (EMAK) has initiated an event The Silent Heroes Awards 2020, at  Le Meridien, Cochin on 25 February. This award had recognized, rewarded and celebrated the immense contribution of the unsung heroes in the event and wedding industry of Kerala.  

Anna Gigi Joseph, a passionate baker from Kochi who has been in this profession for 11 years making astonishing baked items and making others dream come true in the form of cakes. She specializes in Wedding cakes, macarons and sculpted figures. The Bakery Industry has been evolving over the years, recognizing the true talents and exhibiting the real essence, such awards has been a source of motivation for the aspiring bakers, chefs and event organizers.

In conversation with HospiBuz, Anna stated- “The EMAK Silent Heroes Award for Best Designer Cake,  was the 1st recognition I got. They had called and I said I was nominated for the Best Designer cake category.  After filling and sending the nomination forms, I was one of the finalists among 6. Frankly, I never expected to get a gold, maybe a silver or definitely a bronze, because the other finalists are excellent bakers too. Once they announced the gold is for Miracles on cakes by Anna,  I couldn’t believe it. I was so happy and excited, and grateful to all my friends and family for their continuous support. Dedicating this award to my husband and kids who have sacrificed a lot and still support me, Grateful to my customers too!”

Winning Gold for the Best Cake Design is something which has been a long-desired by Anna. On her achievement, HospiBuz Congratulates her and wishes for more success and happiness.
