antiSOCIAL Pune Hosts #Framed – A House Music Showcase

Pune, ** April 2022: Witness a music night like never before as you experience Blurry Slur x Orbs & Zen bring to the city their latest ‘Ghetto Edition’ of #Framed – a concept party that combines 2 of their favorite influences into one unique experience. The house lineup also features music artists Lea + Obscure as they take to the floor with their groove on house, to transform the rhythm of the night at antiSOCIAL this Saturday from 9 pm onwards.

While artist, producer, and DJ, Lea Pudumjee loves to produce Techno and Deep-House inspired by India’s sound and instruments, Obscure’s foray into the realm of DJ jockeying began with a trance centered on electronica. Spanning from house to techno, Obscure’s artistic expression as an artist, in his world is to be fluid and ever-evolving. To date, Obscure has shared the stage with renowned artists from around the world like Loco á Jam, Maribou State, Enamour, Stefano Noferini, Theo Kottis, Breger, Spektre, and Kaiser Souzai. 

Be a part of this immersive theme party with custom decor, a cocktail bar, and tons of new age + groovy house music, courtesy of the duo themselves. For #framed is a house music-driven audio-visual concept night that strives to spread its roots into the Indian music scene one show at a time. With a ton of gigs under Orbs & Zen X Blurry Slur’s belt already on some of the biggest platforms across the country, the duo definitely knows its Deep House music and wishes to span on a larger scale to audiences all over. They’d also celebrated their one-year anniversary for #FRAMED with the Looney edition.

ABOUT ORBS & ZEN:

Orbs & Zen, a solo project headed by Nicky Ramnani with the onset of 2015, came into being by Nicky Ramnani & Ajay Makhija in September 2013 as a bi-weekly affair at a then freshly born venue called The Daily in Bombay.

The music experienced through Orbs & Zen is deeply warm and groovy but occasionally dives into deep tech, disco and electronica.

Over the years Nicky has played across venues and for promoters in Bombay and occasionally in Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mauritius, Bangkok and Amsterdam. He has warmed up for acts such as Sante, Claptone, Paji, Adana Twins, Purple Disco Machine, HNQO, Juliet Sikora and multi-city toured with Fur Coat – to name some. He has also played the ADE and the KaterBlau showcases in Bombay.

ABOUT BLURRY SLUR:

In early 2014 with an already established Minimal Techno moniker – Qwiver, this versatile DJ / Producer was given the opportunity to delve into a new sound as he was billed alongside some renowned names – Tube & Berger, Nils Hoffmann, Daniel Steinberg, HNQO & Tigerskin. Their music being more soft, slick, fresh but yet holding a lot of emotion was very different to that of the established techno artists on the Indian circuit and playing with acts like these got him to deepen his understanding of various other styles of 4×4 music. This shift led to this young lad exploring a new alter ego project focusing more on the housey & deeper side of music which took shape in the name of BLURRY SLUR.

ABOUT OBSCURE: 

The trance around dance music was Obscure’s entree into the world of disc jockeying. Spanning From House to Techno, Obscure’s artistic expression stems from Fluidity through ever transforming rhythm of the underground scene.

Expression as an artiste, in Obscure’s world, is to be fluid through electronic music, which is constantly evolving.

The drive to perform was ignited by various local and international acts. The curiosity over the equipment responsible for creating the beats intensified his disposition to be on stage.
