BEAT, a ready to drink bottled cocktail brand, launches India’s first carbonated gin-based cocktails in exciting flavours!

 BEAT, a ready to drink cocktail brand that offers crafted cocktails, is all set to elevate the on-the-go drinking experience for the Indian consumer. It has taken the initiative to launch India’s first bottled carbonated gin-based cocktail brand. These cocktails are available in two flavours; Cucumber and Watermelon. Launched as a pilot project, the brand is currently available in Goa and will soon be expanding to other states and introducing many new flavours.

Launched by Alcopop Spirits, BEAT is the brainchild of two young entrepreneurs Vidur Relan and Rohan Khare, who are passionate about disrupting the drinking culture in India. 

Explaining their vision, Vidur says, “The era of ready to drink cocktails is now here. It intends to offer the evolved consumer segment a hassle-free drinking experience, convenience and a great variety. We have started with gin-based cocktails as Gin is a preferred cocktail base and will soon be expanding this list to include more spirits. We aim to bring unique and crafted cocktails within our portfolio.”

With a rise in trend towards the ready-to-drink beverage industry globally, BEAT was launched to give Indian consumers a convenient cocktail drinking experience anytime, anywhere. Crafted in India at a state-of-the-art facility in Goa, BEAT’s refreshing cocktails have been specially formulated to cater to an evolved and diverse audience. With a range of ready to drink gin-based cocktails and its upcoming range of other spirit cocktails, BEAT aims to penetrate the Indian market deeply and increase consumer awareness in this segment. 

The Indian consumer is looking for variety beyond traditional alcoholic beverages, and the ready-to-drink beverage market is here to offer just that.

 With an increase in the shift in consumers’ preference towards flavoured, on-the-go drinks, the Ready-to-drink market trend is rising. 

In the post-Covid era, there has also been an increase in the at-home drinking culture, making consumers look for more variety for their home bars. BEAT offers just that, with a perfect mix of convenience and flavour. Making cocktails has always been a tedious process, from procuring ingredients to getting the right recipes, making it challenging for the consumers to prepare and consume cocktails conveniently. BEAT cocktails are redefining the cocktail drinking experience by offering a range of ready to drink cocktails by creating unique mixtures in various flavours using its handcrafted spirits. 

About the brand:

BEAT was started with the vision of crafting a range of cocktails to give a convenient, on the go bar experience anytime anywhere. This idea is the brainchild of two innovators, Vidur Relan and Rohan Khare. Vidur Relan, an aspiring serial entrepreneur, was impressed by the booming on the go cocktail/ hard seltzer market in the US during his time there as a student. After returning to India, he gained experience working in the Indian Private Equity industry and later coupled his insights with his desire to explore the uncharted territory in the Indian Alcohol Industry. Rohan Khare, the other wheel of this pioneering brand is a second-generation entrepreneur. His inquisitiveness towards the tastes and preferences of India’s drinking masses drove him to experiment with exciting concoctions, leading to the birth of their brand BEAT!
