Bengali food is eaten in courses. Each dish has a style of cooking unique to it. Bengalis live to eat. And they live to celebrate Durga Puja. No time can be better than this to bring to you a community celebratory class with some gourmet recipes shared with a narrative from the authentic kitchens of Bengal. Chef Abhinanda Bhattacharya is known to be an expert in Bengali cuisine, a perfected art with years of work and with recipes from her family. We have chosen a few Bengali jewels to celebrate Durga Puja 2019 at the Foodhall Cookery Studio.

Daab chingri (prawns oven cooked in tender coconut)
Potoler dorma with chhanar pur (stuffed pointed gourd which is parwal with paneer stuffing)
Traditional mishti pulao
Dhokaar dalna (lentil cakes steamed fried and cooked in gravy)
Dim-er devil (eggs coated with minced chicken encased in seasoned potatoes and crumb coated)
