Kadamba Single-malt whisky has been aged for years in a variety of casks, before being finished in French cuvée grand cru casks, which previously held some of the highest quality champagnes around. Usually, sparkling and white wines are harder to match with whisky, unlike reds which feature darker, richer flavours. Yet through their growing experience with unusual wine varieties, the Cheers group team has managed to create a unique and balanced expression.

On the nose, Kadamba Champagne Barrel finished delivers green and red apples followed by subtle grapefruit and lemon notes. The palate deepens with vanilla and famous Goan bread--Poee or poie baked by the traditional bakers. The new expression comes in a gorgeous  cut-glass 750ml decanter bottle as part of the brand extension, priced at ₹ 3520/- in Goa and may vary in other destinations as per excise regulations.

Kadamba Single-malt Champagne barrel finished is an enchantment of celebration for all lovers of whisky. The most emblematic French barrels give Kadamba the 'Spirit of Malt' subtle and complex aromas that delight the amateurs and connoisseurs, original elegant product, both traditional and innovative. The finish in ex-Champagne matured barrels that gives dark color, fine floral nose, characteristic of a dry white wine. The spirited attack-- frank and rather dry, offers a balanced and very typical result, with a good length in the mouth.

Cheers Group’s Kadamba Single-malt whisky distilled varieties have recently done several intriguing, perhaps even a bit unusual, cask finishes in the world Single-malt whisky scene. By playing around with different cask types created the layers of flavours. Kadamba single-malt whisky varients used a range of the casks, fills of ex-bourbon, mix and match of a variety of cask types from bourbon to Caribbean rum casks. Cheers group has been extending the secondary maturation in barrels of Sherry, Agave, Feni, Caribbean rum, Champagne and more.
