India's Cheers Group 'Kadamba Single-malt' Wins at London Spirits Competition

The results are in for the highly anticipated 2025 International London Spirits Competition, and this year’s winners reflect an exciting blend of heritage, innovation, and global craftsmanship. Best Spirits by Quality, Value and Packaging standout achievement in one of the world’s most competitive spirits arenas.

"The growth in the Single-malt market and increasing love for Single-malts is primarily fuelled by quality. We are honored to have been awarded at London Spirits Competition, these industry accolades are recognition of the high quality of Kadamba Single-malt,"

Goa based Cheers group, valued at around ₹ 850 crores has demonstrated a proven track record of product accolades and awards, tallying more than 250 awards at the national and international levels for its globally acclaimed over 120 brands, including the most awarded Kadamba Single-malt whisky and Labrodog Scotch.

The London Spirits Competition once again attracted strong international representation. Spirits from more than 30 countries were entered, with the United Kingdom (13.7%), Australia (12.9%), and Italy/USA (each 7.1%) leading in nominations, along with few award winning brands from India.

Cheers group has been busy lately with their distillery expansion. They have been recognized as one of the fastest-growing luxury spirit brands company. “Our focus is on keeping up with demand and pleasing our customers by maintaining our reputation for making world-class spirits,” "We would expand distribution to several additional international markets by the end of the 2025 calendar year."

What does he think Kadamba Single-malt so impressed the judging panel of the London Spirits Competition? “We have subtle hints of peat enough for peat enthusiasts to appreciate, and not too much for non-peat lovers to approach. We are typically a relatively delicate spirit, with notes of honey, dates, and butterscotch.” adds Ashwin. And, boosted by their win, Cheers group has big plans for the future of the brand.
