At the centre of Vanaha’s ascent is Vaniitha Jain, its visionary founder and India’s only woman to build and lead a distillery. A respected alcohol-beverage expert with deep global insight, Vaniitha has shaped the way India understands premium craft spirits. Vanaha reflects her belief that an Indian gin that is rooted in purity, intention, and craft—deserves its place among the world’s finest. Her approach marries science with quiet artistry: she developed Vanaha’s proprietary five-step extraction method and introduced India’s first use of cold vacuum distillation for select botanicals, preserving delicate aromas while redefining what modern Indian gin can be. Vaniitha Jaiin, Founder, Revelry Distillery, said: “Vanaha was born from a simple but powerful idea: to distill a forest in its purest form, with all its layers of depth, mystery and richness. We wanted a gin that carries the untouched essence of India’s wild landscapes and stands confidently on the world stage. To be recognised so early across product, packaging and innovation is deeply meaningful for our entire team.”
Navvin Jaiin, Co-Founder, added: “Every element of Vanaha has been built with care. To see global juries acknowledge the liquid, the design and the production philosophy is a strong validation of our approach to craft innovation and quality. It strengthens our belief that India can create spirits of true world- class calibre.”

For India, these achievements carry a deeper resonance. Vanaha’s success stands as proof that a spirit born from local forests, distilled with intention, and led by a pioneering Indian woman can command its place among the best in the world. It is a moment that feels both historic and hopeful—one that honours the country’s botanical heritage while charting a bold new path for its craft spirits.
In many ways, Vanaha’s journey has only begun. But with five global awards, a groundbreaking innovation shortlist, and an expanding national footprint, the brand has already redefined what an Indian gin can aspire to be. Its ascent marks not just a milestone for the category, but a chapter that will be remembered as the moment India’s craft spirits stepped confidently onto the global stage.
