Big role for the trip Master

Deep Kalra, the CEO of Make My Trip has stepped down from his position which is now taken over by the Co-Founder of the company Rajesh Mahow. Magow was earlier the head of India Business of Make My Trip. Kalra will now be the Executive Chairman of the group.

A company official said, “He will devote his full time to pursuing strategic initiatives, including product innovation and expansion, geographic growth, business model innovation and corporate development, in his new role as group executive chairman”.

Rajesh Magow’s position now as the Chief Executive Officer of the group will be completely different from the previous position. As of now, the market value of the online travel agency is USD 2.74 billion. Kalra who is now the Executive Chairman of the company has also played an important role in acquiring its closest rival Ibibo Group.
