This summer, Sheraton Grand Pune Bund Garden Hotel is excited to present the "Konkani Mango Safari", featuring home Chef Mrs Meena Paranjape. This exceptional pop-up will celebrate the rich flavours of the Konkan region, with a special focus on Mangoes from the Konkan belt.

Chef Meena Paranjape is all set to showcase an array of vegetarian dishes that are quintessentially Maharashtrian, infused with the luscious taste of fresh Mangoes.

Guests can enjoy traditional drinks like Kairi cha Panha and Solkadhi while savouring classic starters such as Alu Wadi and Kothimbir Wadi. The festival will also offer an assortment of pickles, including Naral ani Kairi chi Chatani, a variety of flavourful chutneys, and homemade papads like Mirgunda fresh, zesty salads such as Ambe Daal and Bhopla cha Bharit.

At the heart of the festival are dishes that beautifully bring out the authentic Konkan flavours like the batata chi bhaaji, kaju usal, bharli wangi, and the unique koyada (ripe mango curry). Pair these with the typical aromatic rice varieties such as masala bhaat and Kairi cha bhaat, alongside an assortment of rotis including poori and bhakri. And don't forget to leave room for dessert, because an assortment of treats like aamras, ukdiche modak, and rawa ladoo awaits you!

And finally, finish your meal in true Konkani style with traditional paan/vida and supari.
