The event at Westin saw guests, employees and fitness enthusiasts gather to celebrate International Yoga Day. Ms. Harsha Banthia gracefully guided the audience to practice a few forms of Hatha Yoga, followed by a session of Sound Healing. This tranquil experience was then complemented by the Brunch of Harmony at Westin’s ancient Indian restaurant, Vedic. Guests indulged in the season’s freshest ingredients, forgotten grains and bygone cooking techniques. Minimalism and simplicity were the central theme of the cuisine, embodied in dishes like, ‘Harit Rasam’, ‘Chenna Roast’, ‘Torai Cutlet’ with ‘Bhappa Aloo’ and many more healthy delicacies. Vedic earns the distinction of being one of the few restaurants in India where the cuisine is designed around the harmony and wellbeing of the body and the mind, and the Brunch of Harmony was a perfect addition to a morning filled with mindfulness, stress relief and relaxation.
