In order to mark the glorious 25-year milestone of NYC, Radisson Blu Plaza Airport is yet again hosting a one-of-a-kind food festival taking you along the ancient silk route spanning over 6400 kilometres.
The night of Thursday witnessed the opening of the food festival with an enchanting atmosphere that included Arabic music, sophisticated yet authentic decor and delicious cuisines from different countries of the silk route. The event was attended by personalities from the field of fashion, lifestyle, food and travel of Delhi and other prominent regular guests.
Some of the dishes on the special menu included Turkish Kefta, Mongolian khuusuur, Parso Akuri, Greek Souvlaki station and Shanghai Jianbiang and many more. An exciting Turkish ice cream booth was set up to entertain the guests. What appealed to the guests was the extravagant menu, stretching through prominent regions of the silk route.
Towards the end of the evening was a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the milestone, Mr. Ashwni Kumar Goela, the General Manager of the hotel was seen quoting, “NYC has been the show stopper since its inception, we feel honoured to be celebrating this big milestone in such a unique way. The restaurant has hosted a lot of festivals in the past but experiencing delightful cuisines along Silk Route is an off-the-beaten-track adventure for all.”
