Eco-luxury holistic medical wellness sanctuary The Farm at San Benito successfully concluded its inaugural ‘Kami No Ken’ training program last June with celebrity co-facilitators Ellen Adarna-Ramsay and Derek Ramsay as co-facilitators of the 4-day, life-changing transformational program – now gearing up for its second run this November 2023.
Kami No Ken Training head coach Nasser Qazi led the holistic renewal program using techniques to help people tap into their body, mind, and spirit's untapped potential.
The Farm’s General Manager, Preet Singh, said that The Farm at San Benito was honored to host the country's first Kami No Ken retreat, “We are grateful to have been a part of this transformative journey, contributing to the personal growth and well-being of each participant. We look forward to enriching collaborations in the future and continuing our shared mission of delivering meaningful experiences that promote physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.”
The powerful combination of The Farm’s expertise in providing life-transformative healing holidays and Kami No Ken's self-discipline and transformational mind-body training delivered an unparalleled and impactful experience,” Singh added.
The program's goal is to assist individuals in overcoming their limitations, developing personalized tools to help them overcome them, and understanding their life's purpose and calling.
Kami No Ken As A Way Of Life
“Kami No Ken is not a product; it is a way of life – the Principle of Life,” shares Coach Nasser.
Kami No Ken is a process of self-discovery where the individual will discover its inner strength based on daily rituals and habits. Our programs are focused on bringing back the awareness of the connection between our body, mind and soul, thus creating balance and harmony within ourselves and our surroundings.
Being a vocational and avocational self-improvement program; this is not a medical treatment and is more focused on ‘improving the quality of our lives by first improving ourselves.’ Kami No Ken is a process of self-discovery where the individual will discover his own inner strength based on daily rituals and habits.”
The program facilitators shared that the program emphasizes mind-body-soul connection and fosters a sense of balance and harmony within oneself.
Both facilitators and participants were also grateful that The Farm’s healing environment, nutrient-dense wellness cuisine, and holistic treatments contributed to their transformative experience.
Holistic Healing Approach With Kami No Ken
Kami No Ken's holistic healing approach involves a combination of physical exercise, meditation, and visualization, aligning our chakras and energy flow, leading to better health and vitality. The program also nurtures a peaceful and positive mindset, increasing emotional stability and happiness.
Gaining immense popularity worldwide, Kami No Ken supporters say it is a highly effective, practical tool for improving oneself. The program caters to people of all ages and backgrounds, and with the growth of social media, it's much easier to connect and learn from other practitioners worldwide.
A Life-Transformative Healing Holiday
The successful Kami No Ken Training Program yielded extremely grateful students who experienced an ‘exceptional’ life-transforming healing holiday.
The Farm at San Benito has inspired other Philippine holiday resorts to adopt a similar approach. Beach resorts have also started offering Filipino-inspired nature spas and “healing holidays,” other alternatives have shifted their focus to provide a broader range of wellness experiences encompassing physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Even hotel spas are now offering vegan-vegetarian options and incorporating mindful activities, making them more aligned with the concept of ‘healthy hotels.’
Wellness tourism being synonymous with eco-tourism, wellness tourism establishments need to implement sustainable practices to reduce their carbon footprint. This includes reducing waste, conserving energy and water, supporting local conservation efforts, and promoting responsible tourism practices among guests.
By developing partnerships and inviting local and international visiting practitioners who specialize in holistic healing and healing arts, the holistic wellness sanctuary creates year-round attractions or events that reduce the impact of seasonality.
Apart from training programs like ‘Kami No Ken’, The Farm at San Benito has also introduced initiatives like Family Wellness, Green Meetings, and Wellness Weddings, to name a few, to attract a diverse range of visitors apart from those going on medically supervised, all-inclusive health optimization programs.
