Chef Jerson all set for MH-09

HospiBuz brings to you a voyage from Goa to Kolhapur which is not just a fun travelling. It’s research in itself. This is the journey of Chef Jerson Fernandes with his friend Chef Dev Kasalkar, A chef from Kolhapur and Managing Director of Chef’s Kitchen Institute. Chef Jerson shows how an Executive Chef of a Five-star hotel explores the entire city to bring back with the authentic traditional dishes of the city. This journey is an inspiration for budding chefs. It shows how much research goes on to attain that perfect flavours of one cuisine in a completely different city. The journey is filled with action, involvement, participation, experience and a lot of enthusiasm.

Kolhapur Food festival will soon take place at  Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia Resort, Cavelossim, Goa. The dates for the festival are from 23rd to 30th November. Chef Jerson Fernandes, the executive chef of the hotel is impregnated with zeal for the festival. The festival is named as MH-09. 

Chef Jerson is trying his best to make this festival creative as his style and authentic as the cuisine. To update himself about the authenticity of the cuisine he went to the Kolhapur to learn about their diverse cuisine and their cooking cultures. He along with Chef Dev Kasalkar, Managing Director of Chef’s Kitchen Institute is exploring Kolhapur to get its culinary experience.

They are searching for the most authentic recipes and cooking techniques in every nook and corner of Kolhapur. From street food to the traditional food in the old homes of Kolhapur, Chef Jerson is trying and learning each and every dish there. His tour tp Kolhapur will definitely be depicted in his creativity in MH-09.
