Chef Jerson Fernandes- Goa’s most celebrated Chef gets felicitated by the CM of Goa

Goa,26th December: Chef Jerson Fernandes Executive Chef of Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia Resort gets felicitated and recognised by the Chief Minister of Goa- Dr Pramod Sawant for his culinary contributions to the state of Goa which include some of the most spectacular achievements. The power of his intention is seen in the heart of his innovation.; ranging from The Farmer’s Markets for Sunday Brunch, Spice Trails, Farm Tour cooking, Dining With Elsa-the Goldfish, and Saltwater tours- each of which demonstrates his culinary initiatives beyond the Kitchen, and beyond his designation of being an Executive Chef. Amalia, the resort’s lounge lobby bar is Chef Fernandes’s innovation of nutritionally-rich plant-based diet inspirations, earning the recognition of Goa’s first Vegan-friendly bar.

He was also awarded the Best Executive Chef of Goa in 2019 by FBCAI and 2020 by  Best of India Biz awards, promoting Goan food, culture and tourism by his interesting and enticing Food and Beverage concepts that he brings to the table each time.  Chef Jerson also became one of the First Goan Executive Chef’s to have his name registered in the Guinness Book of world records in February 2020. With over 13 years of experience, Chef Jerson is a maestro of flavours, an intuitive pioneer of gastronomic delights, and an agile artist of food plating; each of which is reinforced by his passion for sustainability and conscious food choices.
