The topnotch ice-cream brand Cold Stone Creamery have stepped in Indian Market and have launched its first outlet at the Harshvardhan Chambers in Oshiwara. Cold Stone Creamery is US-based, headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona the company is headed and operated by Kahala brands.
It’s brought to India by Tablez the organised retail arm of Lulu Group International, Mumbai is the 19th Cold Stone Creamery outlet launched in India.
At the time of launch, Adeeb Ahamed, Managing Director, Tablez said, "We are excited to open our first Cold Stone Creamery in Mumbai. We introduced the American brand in India in the year 2016, and since then, Cold Stone Creamery has become one of the favourite ice cream brands in India. The ice cream industry in India is witnessing a steady growth and we will be witnessing annually double digits growth over the next three years."
Manoj K Mohan, Vice President- F&B, Tablez, shared his insights by saying, “This is our 19th outlet of Cold Stone Creamery in India. We have seen great success with the brand in Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune and Kochi so far. Since the brand’s launch in India, we have seen a very good response from the consumers and the brand is known for its premium quality. In this outlet, we are offering 24 flavours. Within that, we have also introduced lots of Indian flavours such as Rose Falooda, Alphonso, Raspberry, and Watermelon. Another USP of our product is we offer free mixes/toppings along with the scoop.”
He also said, “We have our in-house Cafe brand Bloomsbury's, South Africa's Flame Grilled chicken brand Galito's, and American brand Cold Stone Creamery under the Tablez group. We plan to add 15 more outlets of Cold Stone Creamery across India by 2019 and aggressively planning for the next two years, we will continue to concentrate on the big cities in future as well. We are also planning to open our second outlet in Mumbai by May.”
