Crowne Plaza Adyar Park Chennai is excited to announce the launch of its latest culinary adventure, ‘Curato Di Gargano’ – an Italian food festival. The festival offers an exquisite range of Italian cuisine that will take you on a journey throughout Italy. The menu is curated by our chef Gobu Kumar , who has curated this perfect Italian set menu at On the Rocks that will warm your soul.

This Italian food festival is designed to give you a glimpse of the unique and authentic flavors of Italy. The festival menu features a selection of traditional Italian dishes, each with its own unique flavour profile, highlighting traditional flavours from different parts of Italy. It celebrates seafood, several types of pasta from tortellini to lasagna, and the famed Cannelloni for dessert. The festival will be held from 19th May to 28th May 2023 at On The Rocks, the hotel’s signature restaurant.

The festival menu begins with an Amuse Bouche of Beetroot Rigatoni which contains an apple compote, rosemary diplomat, and Abby beet. The first warm course is a choice between two hot cups - Gnocchi & Leek or Watercress & Shrimp Tortellini which features a watercress verde with Tuscany shrimps.

The festival menu also includes two small plates to choose from – Vedura & Anarcadi Fagottini made of caponata vegetables, and a coriander aioli, or Formaggio di Pollo Lasagne, which has piccata chicken, buffalo mozzarella, and romesco sauce. For the refreshment course to cleanse your palette, you will indulge in a Fruit Tagliatelle with Hong Kong pink guava, red chilli, and sea salt.

The large plates section includes two signature dishes that will leave you with a sense of satisfaction and warmth in your heart. You can choose from Wild Mushroom Caramelle and a Lamb Meatball Spaghetti. To end the meal on a sweet note, the dessert course offers Bailey’s Cannelloni which is an amalgamation of Bailey’s crème, almond méringue, and single-origin cacao.
