“The Lost Cuisine of Punjab" is a culinary exploration project aimed at reviving and preserving the rich, diverse culinary heritage of Punjab.
Punjab, often celebrated for its vibrant culture and hearty cuisine, boasts a culinary legacy deeply rooted in tradition, history, and regional influences. However, with changing times, many traditional recipes and cooking techniques have lost its charm, losing the culinary heritage that was associated with it.
Crowne Plaza Greater Noida explores the lost flavours and cuisines of Punjab with Chef Hardev Singh at the helm. Taking place at Spice Art, the guests can indulge in delicacies like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Charsi kebab, Mongre Aloo di Sabhi, Chaati da Kukkad, Mash di Dal, Phulkari Pulao, Punjabi Chitti, Alsi di Panjiriand a lot more.
Food isn’t just food in Punjab. It is an unrivalled reflection of the history, culture and lifestyle of a robust land with an agrarian legacy rooted in Harappan times. Naturally bequeathed with fecund fields, the culinary traditions of the ‘Land of Five Rivers’ are simple, healthy and linked to the land.
The 12-days long food festival will transport you to the lanes of the Punjab’s bygone era and get you reminiscing the old-classic flavours.
