Edamame, A Pan Asian Kitchen is the brainchild of Aakanksha Rajput and is helmed by her father Chef Avinash Rajput who comes with over 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
"With Edamame Pan Asian Bistro, we want to make Pan Asian dining fuss-free and casual. We are also planning to launch Mumbai's first Asian breakfast shortly. " Says Aakanksha. Edamame, A Pan Asia Kitchen started as a delivery kitchen in February 2021 in Andheri East, and the success of the kitchen gave birth to this Bistro with a Bohemian vibe.
At the Bistro, indulge in a wide variety of delectable delights that range from Baos, Sushi, curries, dim sums among other Pan Asian Fare, focusing mainly on Cantonese and Thai food made with the finest ingredients. The bistro not just caters to the eclectic crowd in and around Versova but has a loyal customer base for its delivery kitchen across the city. "Our spill-proof packaging and range of flavourful delights are what has been instrumental in building a strong clientele across the city. Turnip Cakes, Malaysian Laksa Curry, Spinach Maki Sushi, Truffle Fried Rice are some of our star dishes"

The bistro is an open space given the covid scenario makes for the perfect dining out option. The all-white interiors with macramé dotted interiors are the perfect setting to unwind with friends and family over some delicious Asian food.
Chef Avinash Rajput and Aakanksha Rajput also run a culinary school called 'Just Appetite Culinary School' Their studio is based in Andheri East, where they run various eggless and pure vegetarian workshops/courses. They have now started a company called Splendour Restaurants and Hotels in Partnership with Gayatri Mohata. Edamame Bistro is the first of the many restaurants started by the company. Gayatri Mohata, comes with more than 15 years in the manufacturing business industry. Gayatri has always been passionate about food and was always looking to diversify in this industry which gave birth to this partnership.

The founders currently look forward to opening restaurants across the city showcasing various cuisines and bringing authentic tastes regional and Asian to people of the city. Currently, there are two brands running under Splendour, Edamame and Pop A Bao, Asian Street Food.
