Effects of Delhi fog on Airlines

IndiGo Airlines faced a delay of 90 minutes yesterday morning at Hyderabad airport due to the server issues. Apart from that, the great Delhi fog caused a delay of a further 20 minutes. The flight delaying had a cascading effect on the airlines. Although the server issues were resolved in a while, the flights continued to remain delayed till afternoon. The airlines communicated the issue to its passengers. 

The Air India flight (AI 839) which was supposed to land on Rajiv Gandhi International Airport(RGIA) at 11:30 pm on Sunday reached the city at 04:10 am on Monday due to fog. “The fog in the national capital has delayed the take-off of most flights. That is why they are landing late,” said a spokesperson of Air India. Overall, close to ten Delhi- Hyderabad flights were delayed.
