Whether you are celebrating Bakri Eid or want to get together with friends and family for an Eid Biryani and Kebab lunch, Taftoon's royal Awadhi and Mughlai spread from the North should definitely be on your menu. Indulge in our selection of unique Biryanis like the Kaibari Biryani from the Khyber Pass regions and the Sofiyani Biryani and Safed Gosht ki Biryani from Awadh, along with a selection of Pulaos. Make your own combo with our speciality kebabs like the Railway Khosha Chops, the succulent Patthar Ka Kebab, the Kandahari Koobideh, and so much more!  For a sweet ending, dig in to the Shufta, Pista Jam Pie, and other tempting treats.

Some highlights from our menu that's perfect for your Eid festivities:

Galauti Kebab: 

Soft and flavourful minced lean mutton blended with smoked, browned onion paste, slow-cooked on a special griddle.

Bihari Kebab: 

Barbequed pieces of mixed goat meat, liver, and kidneys marinated in mustard oil, yogurt, and spices, slow-cooked and finished on the grill. Served with mint leaves and onions.

Patthar Ke Kebab: 

Off-the-bone chicken marinated in cashew, onion, and Awadhi spices, slow-cooked on a hot stone and finished with our signature ghee.

Biryani Kaibari: 

Fragrant basmati rice layered with chicken on the bone, enhanced with apricot or khubani.

Safed Gosht Ki Biryani: 

Lamb marinated in yellow chili and spices, slow-cooked with whole spices and long-grain rice served in a clay pot sealed with dough.

Sofiyani Sabziyon ki Biryani: 

Delicately cooked seasonal vegetables flavoured with spices, saffron, and cream, dum-cooked with basmati rice in the royal Awadhi style.

Shufta:

Shufta is a traditional Kashmiri dessert made with apricots, cashews, dried coconut, pistachios, and sultanas. These ingredients are toasted in ghee, stewed with whole spices, and sweetened with Kashmiri honey. It is served with mango ice cream and chewy badam shortbread.

Pista Jam Pie:

Pista Jam Pie is a unique dessert that combines the flavours of Gulab Jamun and rabdi anglaise. Gulab Jamun, a sweet fried dumpling, is baked with a layer of rabdi anglaise, creating a delicious and indulgent treat.
