KOKO is back with its annual sensation, the 'House of Negroni,' a month-long celebration of the timeless Negroni and the artistry of mixology. The second edition introduces new cocktails meticulously crafted to pay homage to the Negroni. These creations promise a delightful departure from the ordinary, blending unexpected elements with finesse. This limited edition menu called ‘The Fifth Note’, available until 8th February 2024 promises to be a symphony of exquisite flavors, echoing the resonance of your favorite song or a lingering winter night.
The menu curated by Vineeth Krishnan, Beverage Manager, KOKO showcases a carefully curated selection, including the Negroni Highball—a classic with pre-batched, fat-washed negroni, tonic water, and soda, presenting silky, herby, and umami notes. The Umeshu Negroni pays homage to the classic Japanese spirit with a delightful blend of gin, cream sherry, Maraschino Bitter Bianco, and grape juice fizz, delivering sweet, tarty, and creamy undertones. The Fig & Balsamic Boulevardier introduces a whisky-laced boulevardier with whispers of caramel, campari, Martini Rosso, fig liqueur, balsamic vinegar, saline solution, and tonic water, creating a medley of umami, smoky, and bold notes. The Bacon Boulevardier offers a symphony of bacon-washed whisky, Campari, cherry, white soy, and Vincy’s Spray, evoking smoky, zesty, and bitter-sweet sensations. The Mezcal Negroni Sour presents a high-octane mezcal infusion with morel mushrooms, sichuan peppercorn-infused carpano, campari, agave nectar, and lemon juice, topped with a vegan foamer, resulting in earthy, sour, and umami notes. Finally, the Wasabi Negroni, a Kinobi-based negroni featuring Luxardo Bitter Bianco, toasted rice tincture, and a twist of wasabi, promises a bold, earthy, and umami experience.
