Kamia Mulhotra is not only a talented television actress but also has a remarkable journey in the hospitality sector. She started her acting career in 1984 with the iconic TV soap opera "Hum Log" and went on to do comedy and historic TV serials like "Ghar Jamai" and "Buniyaad." She even worked on a comedy called "Mungeri Lal ke Haseen Sapne," directed by Mr. Prakash Jha. She has successfully established several ventures in the industry, including top-notch restaurants, trendy pubs, and exquisite fine-dining establishments. In 2003, she established a restaurant and pub called Hungama in Mumbai. Then, in 2005, she founded her own hospitality and entertainment company called Next Gen Entertainment Pvt Ltd. She further expanded her endeavors by establishing D ULTIMATE, a restaurant and lounge bar spread over 15,000 sq ft. She also opened a second branch of Hungamma in Mumbai in 2007. And between 2011 and 2013, Kamia successfully established a fine-dining restaurant called KAFED'OR.
