It’s been a year since the launch of The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat, and its already time for them to welcome their 2nd Christmas and New Year in the city, and its surely going to be a special affair for their loyal guests and patrons. Experience the joy and grace of the festivities with a special Christmas Eve Dinner and Christmas Day Brunch showcasing the best of handcrafted goodies and seasonal delights at the all-day dining restaurant-Seasonal Tastes alongside live music by Francis Lepcha and Lady Cooger.

An elaborate buffet curated by the team of chefs at the property is surely going to leave your taste buds wanting more. Delicacies on offer will be, ‘Classic Christmas soup like Consommé’, ‘Oven Roasted Turkey’, ‘Whole Roast Leg of Baby Lamb’, ‘Suckling Pig’ and much more. Two special food stations will display classic dishes from Goa such as ‘Prawn Balchao’, ‘Meen Pollichattu’, ‘Chicken Cafreal’ and Kerala such as ‘Mutton Pepper Fry’, and ‘Vegetable Kurma’.

Christmas feels incomplete without the classic sweet accompaniments. Some tasty bakes on display for the buffet will be ‘Chocolate Ganache With Madeleine Sponge & Coffee Cream Filled Choux’, ‘Chocolate Bomb With Passion Jelly & Oven Dried Mandarin Orange Confit’, ‘Christmas Sledge Petit Gateaux’, ‘Christmas Tree (Cherry Jelly, Pistachio Sable, Honey Chocolate Mousse)’, ‘Clementine Tart’, ‘Plum Pudding With Mango and Rum Sauce’ and other Christmas goodies. Accompanying the vast menu will be unlimited selection of cocktails and spirits such as, ‘Mulled Wine’, ‘Egg Nog’, and the usual ‘Red Label’, ‘Smirnoff’, ‘Red and White Wine’, and ‘Gordens’. A special welcome drink will be offered to kids and adults.

Celebrations don’t just end here, as right after Christmas, preparations begin in full swing for the New Year.

Usher in the New Year with international cuisines and foot-tapping music by Michelle Manuel and Spectral Band. Countdown to the New Year with the best of beats from their rocking DJ at The Deck – Bar & Grill, Poolside. 10 live action counters will be serving hot appetizers and main course along with 14 varieties of desserts ranging from local delicacies to western pastries and a wide selection of unlimited alcohol, wine, liquor & beer.

An elaborate New Year’s Eve dinner will be on offer at Seasonal Tastes with live performance by Durjoy.

At the buffet, treat your taste buds to some ‘Oven Roasted Turkey’ and other savory dishes at the Meat Grills live station. A New Year’s special array of desserts will be on display with an unlimited selection of beverages as well. Guests will be offered a special welcome drink on arrival at the restaurant. After bidding farewell to 2018, visit the property for a New Year’s Day Brunch with an elaborate range of dishes curated by the chefs accompanied alongside unlimited options of beverages with a live performance at the restaurant.
