It’s almost Easter egg hunt time! Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet is stepping into spring with an exclusive selection of delectable chocolate treats crafted by its chocolatiers and pastry chefs. Jean-Paul Hévin re visits the classic Easter egg with an irresistibly smooth, super chic creation garnished with little praline eggs and miniature fish & seafood shapes. Pierre Hermé meanwhile has dreamed up a distinctive egg made of caramelised blonde chocolate. Delicious delights for all chocolate lovers!
As part of the seasonal celebrations, from February 21 to April 2 Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet will be hosting special guest Plaq — a Parisian bean-to-bar craft chocolate-maker known for its pure, unadul terated handmade chocolates. Among the brand’s heavenly treats is a pure milk chocolate egg with a praline insert made from French-grown peanuts. Sure to satisfy any sweet tooth!
Jean-Paul Hévin has also produced the perfect treat that will appeal to chocolate lovers of all ages. The celebrated French chocolatier is unwrapping two exclusive creations at Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet featuring Miffy, the famous white rabbit created by picture book artist and author Dick Bruna: a white, milk chocolate coated Miffy garnished with almond praline and hazelnut cream, and a brown, dark cho colate Miffy garnished with hazelnut praline.
