Recipe 1: Sabudana Khichdi

Ingredients:

1. 1 cup Sabudana (sago pearls)

2. 2 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and diced

3. 1/2 cup roasted peanuts, crushed

4. 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped

5. 1 tsp cumin seeds

6. 1 tsp ghee (clarified butter)

7. Sendha namak (rock salt) to taste

8. Fresh coriander leaves, chopped, for garnish

Steps:

1. Wash the Sabudana thoroughly and soak it in water for 4-5 hours. Drain and keep it in the refrigerator overnight.

2. Heat ghee in a microwave-safe bowl, add cumin seeds, and microwave for 30 seconds. The digital display in Voltas Beko microwave will help you keep an eye on the food while you are busy with the Pooja preparations.

3. Add diced potatoes and microwave for 5 minutes, stirring halfway.

Recipe 2: Lauki (Bottle Gourd) Kofta Curry

Ingredients:

For Koftas:

1. 1 cup grated lauki (bottle gourd)

2. 1/2 cup Singhade ka atta (water chestnut flour)

3. Sendha namak to taste

4. 1/2 tsp red chili powder

5. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

6. Oil for frying

For Curry:

1. 1 cup curd (yogurt), whisked

2. 1/2 cup tomato puree

3. 1/2 tsp ginger paste

4. 1/2 tsp green chili paste

5. 1/2 tsp cumin powder

6. 1/2 tsp coriander powder

7. Sendha namak to taste

8. Fresh coriander leaves, chopped, for garnish

Steps:

For Koftas:

1. Combine grated lauki, water chestnut flour, cumin seeds, red chili powder, and rock salt in a bowl.

2. Form small koftas from the mixture.

3. Heat oil in a microwave-safe dish and fry the koftas until golden brown. Keep them aside.

For Curry:

1. In a microwave-safe bowl, mix curd, tomato puree, ginger paste, green chili paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, and rock salt.

2. Microwave the mixture for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the oil separates.

3. Add the fried koftas to the curry and microwave for another 2 minutes.

4. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve with Singhade ke atte ki roti.

Recipe 3: Fruit Salad with Yogurt Dressing

Ingredients:

1. Assorted fruits (banana, apple, pomegranate, etc.), chopped

2. 1 cup thick yogurt

3. 2 tbsp honey

4. 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Steps:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, honey, and cardamom powder. Mix well to prepare the dressing.

2. Toss the chopped fruits in the dressing.
