Parag Shah appointed as Director of Rooms at Fairmont Jaipur

JAIPUR, December 30, 2019 – Fairmont Jaipur, Accor’s modern luxury palace hotel is delighted to announce the appointment of Parag Shah as the Director of Rooms, leading the Rooms Division operations of the property. In his new role Parag will be responsible for the overall functioning of the rooms and will spearhead various functions such as front office, housekeeping and guest services.

With more than 15 years of experience in hospitality operations, Parag’s last assignment was at Sofitel Mumbai BKC, also part of the Accor Luxe portfolio in India. It is at Sofitel Mumbai that Parag progressed to Director of Rooms from his starting designation of Duty Manager. Apart from 8 years of experience in Accor, Parag has also worked extensively with brands such as Marriott, ITC and Emirates.

Parag’s skills have been ratified by the numerous awards that he has received over the last few years, including but not limited to Le Club Champion of the Year 2018, showcasing his competence with respect to Accor’s Loyalty Program, now renamed as ALL – Accor Live Limitless. His efforts were also evident in Sofitel Mumbai’s exceptional performance on TripAdvisor, with it securing #1 position amongst Mumbai’s 627 hotels.

A language enthusiast, he has learned French from Alliance Française to complement his proficient skills in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi. He exudes a unique combination of passion and calmness which has contributed to building his strong leadership qualities over the years. Passionate about learning new skills to improve his personal and professional life, he has recently picked up kick-boxing as a new challenge.
