FALAFEL
Known as Ta'ameya in Egypt, it is an all-time favourite in the Middle East, and Egypt’s acclaimed national food. It is made with ground chickpeas or dried fava beans. They are best eaten with pita bread, tomato, onions, and tahini sauce. Could be pale brown or dark in colour, rough texture usually. You can find falafel all around the world today
For Four portions
- White chickpea 500Gms
- Onion 50Gms.
- Coriander leaves 20Gms.
- Celery 15Gms.
- Spring onion 15Gms.
- Green Pepper 20Gms.
- Garlic 15Gms.
- Cumin powder 05Gms.
- Parsley 10Gms.
- Mint Leaves 10Gms.
- Salt To taste
METHOD
Mix all the ingredients together and ground coarsely.
Deep fry at 176 degree Celsius.
