Betim, Goa, 22nd January, 2024 - Feri Bar, the brainchild of visionary entrepreneurs Siddharth Kerkar, Vipin Raman,andBonita Mascarenhas, has opened its doors to the public in Betim, presenting a captivating blend of culinary excellence and artistic ingenuity. This marks their third venture, following the triumphant establishments of Sopo, a Burmese restaurant, and Room One, a cocktail bar.
Feri Bar, a 35-seat riverside paradise, is set against the backdrop of the majestic Mandovi River, offering the perfect blend of sun-soaked ambiance and artistic allure. Artpreneur Siddharth Kerkar has intricately designed every detail, from a captivating 9-ft-long fish skeleton at the copper bar to mesmerising rotating heads, creating an atmosphere that seamlessly fuses artistry with nature.The name "Feri" pays homage to the iconic Goan ferry- a vessel that has gracefully transported generations across the river (the restaurant is located 50 metres from the Betim Ferry point).Feri encapsulates Siddharth's cherished memories of youthful days eagerly awaiting daily ferry rides. At Feri, these nostalgic moments inspire an ambiance steeped in history, a heartfelt ode to unforgettable experience.
At Feri Bar, the spotlight is on grilled goodness. Guests can indulge in spiced Australian lamb chops, Hoisin Duck, and slow herb-roasted carrot and sweet potato – each dish savoured on the river deck, where every meal is accompanied by stunning sunset views.

The unique cocktail selection at our establishment is the result of a creative collaboration between co-founder Vipin Raman and Arnold Hou, guided by the expertise of mixologist Amalprakash. Embark on a delightful journey with signature concoctions such as 808's, a captivating blend of Bourbon, Amaro, Pineapple, and House Orgeat. Alternatively, savour the exquisite Riverside Paloma, meticulously crafted from Smoked Tequila, Kaffir Lime, Grapefruit Bomb, and Bitters. FERI REPRESENT entices with its distinctive fusion of Gin, St Germain, Cold Brew, and Spices.
Goa’s young artist and co-founder Siddharth Kerkar envisioned Feri Bar, infusing it with a distinctive design that seamlessly intertwines artistry with nature. Kerkar describes the ambiance, stating, "The copper bar, featuring a skillfully handcrafted fish skeleton, and the impressive rotating heads set the tone. The space exudes aesthetic charm with a bamboo roof, a wooden deck interspersed with pebbles, and lush greenery around the periphery." At the heart of it all, "the grand 12 feet mussel lamp shares the spotlight with the copper bar, crafting a visually engaging atmosphere that effortlessly aligns with the serene riverside view," he added.
