Swiggy announced exclusive offers on over 400+ top-selling, high protein food items from over 20 leading brands in the country. To avail the discounts, users can simply search for “EatRight” on the app and explore participating brands offering affordable, high-protein meals. Swiggy also shared that over 15 million customers have ordered protein-focused dishes/meals on the app till date.

The food items on offer include Masala Omelette Sandwich from Freshmenu,Paneer Tikk Salad from Subway, Vanilla Protein Frappe by abcoffeeItalian Chunky Chicken Bowl Plus from EatFit, Paneer Sandwich – Protein Rich from Protein Chef, and High-Protein Butter Chicken Rice Bowl with Seekh Kebab from Honest Bowl.

Over the past year, Swiggy has not only scaled up its range of offerings in the high protein segment but also expanded its reach. The dishes in the subcategory have grown from 90,000 listings to over 1.4 million, and from an initial presence in 10 cities to 161 cities nationwide. Today, consumers can access protein-enriched choices across a wide spectrum of cuisines and formats, from sandwiches, rolls, salads, tikka and kebabs to burgers, pizzas, biryani, and North Indian meals. Notable innovations born from this initiative include the launch of protein-rich menu options such as Shahi Mutton /Chicken Kheema Biryani with an extra egg by Sharief Bhai, multigrain protein pizzas by Olio Pizza, and High Protein Coffee and Shakes by Procaff by Abcoffee, introducing seven varieties of protein-forward beverages, and more. Beyond high-protein offerings, Swiggy has also expanded its focus to include other health-conscious choices such as Low Cal and No Added Sugar options, all unified under a single umbrella category called ‘EatRight’.

In addition to this, Swiggy launched EatRight Streak — the first-ever habit formation initiative designed to nudge customers toward ordering High Protein, Low Calorie, and No Added Sugar meals. Over 2.8 Million users joined the EatRight Streak in less than 2 months, with Bengaluru topping the charts with the highest participation and longest streak (99 orders). Mumbai saw the fastest completion of all milestones i.e. 10 EatRight Orders on the first day itself by a customer.

About a year ago, Swiggy identified a critical nutritional gap in urban India. Surveys and reports revealed that a significant number of consumers were unable to correctly identify their daily protein requirements and were not incorporating protein-rich foods such as lentils, eggs, milk, paneer, chicken, fish, or nuts into their diets regularly. Recognising this urgent need, Swiggy took proactive steps to bridge the information gap by introducing visible protein and calorie (kcal) information on dishes across the platform, empowering consumers to make informed choices while ordering food online without adding any complexity to their experience. Today, 1 in every 9 orders on Swiggy falls under the EatRight umbrella, with the 45g+ protein bucket witnessing the highest growth among all segments.
