Four Points by Sheraton Mahabalipuram Resort & Convention Center appoints Girish Krishnan as the new Hotel Manager

Chennai, o4 July 2019: One of the city’s leading hospitality destinations, Four Points by Sheraton Mahabalipuram Resort & Convention Center has appointed Girish Krishnan as the new Hotel Manager. The journey from a Commis to Hotel Manager, Girish started his journey as a Commis with Rajputana Palace Sheraton and later moved to Oberoi hotels as a kitchen associate and went on to become Executive Chef with Marriott hotels. With 26 years of experience behind him in some of the most eminent kitchens across the country and abroad, GK’s style is keeping the food simple and fresh.

A man of diverse cooking abilities, he basks in Indian cuisine. In his last assignment, he was the Director Food and Beverage for Courtyard Marriott Bhopal. He grasped the opportunity that came knocking in the form of Hotel Manager for Four Points by Sheraton Mahabalipuram Resort & Convention Center.

On being appointed as the new Hotel Manager, Girish Krishnan said, “I am humbled to be entrusted the responsibility to manage overall operations of the hotel. I look forward to working with the team that already has built a reputation for curating experiences for guests, which has won over their confidence and trust. With the team’s support and my overall experience, I am looking forward to elevating hotel’s offerings in the business, leisure and MICE categories.”

Girish loves to travel with his wife; he prefers to travel in his SUV wherever possible. According to him, his travel allows to taste and explore food in different forms. He says it’s incredible how culture of food changes with the change of villages, cities and states.
