Four Seasons Resort Dubai launches Prohibition Nights: Live Jazz, Dulcet Melodies and Hidden Pleasures at Hendricks Bar

Hendricks Bar at Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach unveils its Prohibition Nights. Evoking the allure and mystique of a bygone era, guests are invited to enter a world where rules are mere suggestions and the thrill of the forbidden beckons all to explore the shadows of the past.

Every Wednesday and Thursday evening from 9:00 pm, the hideaway captures the clandestine essence of the Prohibition era, where dimly lit halls and secretive corners set the stage for a night of intrigue and excitement. Inhibitions are left at the door as every sip of an illicit libation tells a story of when indulgence was hidden but never denied, and every note of jazz envelops an ambiance of sophistication, secrecy, and hidden pleasure.

The live jazz band duo, Salt N Pepper, will be shaking things up with their captivating performances throughout the evening. Transporting guests back to the Roaring Twenties with their soulful melodies and dulcet rhythms that defined a generation, Prohibition Nights promises a night of allure and the thrill of the unexpected.

The spirit of the Prohibition era comes alive further with three new bespoke cocktails. Specially curated by Hendrick's Bar Manager Erion Bardhoci, each concoction will seduce the eyes, tease the taste buds, and delight the palate. As a semi-finalist in the World Class UAE & Oman 2024 Competition, Erion is a creative genius with exceptional talent in mixology. His passion for crafting unique and unforgettable drinks is evident in every glass he prepares. With a flair for conjuring unexpected ingredients, knowledge of flavour profiles, and innovative techniques, Erion’s creations are a liquid art experience.

In Our Time is a sophisticated twist on the classic New York Sour and features salted caramel bourbon, clarified lemon juice, and a spiced red wine float. Visually stylish and offering a luxurious blend of sweet, citrus, and spiced aromatic flavours, it's perfect for those who appreciate complexity in their cocktails.

Movement redefines the classic Manhattan with an innovative array of flavours that captivate the senses. Featuring coffee rye whiskey complemented with crème de cacao and port, it offers a beautiful balance of bitter, sweet, and spicy elements. It nods to the dynamic spirit of the Prohibition era with a contemporary twist that is both familiar and intriguingly different.

Golden Mirror elevates the classic Boulevardier with a creative fusion of spirits. Featuring gin, tequila, Campari, Aperol, and port wine to create a bold and vibrant base, clarified milk is delicately introduced to offer a velvety texture. Visually stunning and uniquely satisfying to taste, this is a perfect refreshment for those seeking a refined and adventurous drinking experience.
